Catching up with Dave Begel

With the serious nature of many of our recent conversations on race and education, I thought it best to take a short break from these weighty topics and talk about somewhat lighter fare, so I called up my friend Dave Begel to talk about the weather. As is often the case with Mr. Begel, our conversation went in a variety of different directions, from Milwaukee’s (occasionally) friendly skies, a look a head at what’s next for the podcast, even a bit on a speech by President Dwight Eisenhower and, of course, much more.
Dave even had some kind words for the podcast, calling it “one of the few places in Milwaukee where you hear relatively erudite discussions.” Hey, thanks Mr. Begel!
