The Donna Lexa Memorial Art Fair, an annual event in the Wales area, is calling artists to apply to be part of its 15th anniversary year. The juried fair, held Saturday, August 20, features artists from Wisconsin and across the country.

Last year, more than 70 artists exhibited works in a variety of mediums, including watercolor, sculpture, jewelry, glass, pottery, photography and fiber arts.

Apply online at www.donnalexamemorialartfair.org. Applications will be accepted through May 15, and selected artists notified by June 1.

Last year’s event drew close to 3,500 attendees. The fair is easily accessible from the Milwaukee and Madison areas. In addition to great artwork, the event features food, children’s activities, a silent art auction, used book sale and an entertainment area featuring a variety of musical performances.

The Donna Lexa Memorial Art Fair will be held Saturday, August 20, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. rain or shine, and admission is free. The Fair is held along the Glacial Drumlin bike trail in the quaint village of Wales, just south of I-94 on Hwy 83.
