We wrap up our series with inventors, technologists and web entrepreneurs this week in a chat with Joe McBride and Kevin Costello of Kinsale Technologies. Joe and Kevin are the creators of the “conceptual holiday” app for Facebook and iPhone, BothDay; Text-to-Movie, a tool that lets you turn any script into an animated featurette; and injDex, the NFL Injury Index.

Mark, Joe and Kevin explore the lighter (and less financially lucrative) side of Internet innovation through three of Kinsale’s applications, as well as the nature of their creative partnership and the changing climate of a web on which more and more people seem to be doing stuff just for the spirit and fun of it rather than the cash turnover opportunities.
