WMSE’s Local/Live Presents Whiskey of The Damned Broadcasting Live From Club Garibaldi!
Whiskey Of the Damned will be sure to get you in the spirit before the group plays Milwaukee Irish Fest later that week.
WMSE presents Local/Live with a highly energetic, completely ruckus and a tiny bit Celtic-influenced performance from Whiskey of The Damned, broadcasting live from Club Garibaldi – 2501 S. Superior Street — on Tuesday, Aug. 16. Join WMSE and Whiskey of the Damned by listening over the airwaves or by participating as an audience member in another installment of WMSE’s dynamic ‘Local/Live at Club Garibaldi series! It is FREE and open to the 21+ public.
Whiskey Of the Damned will be sure to get you in the spirit before the group plays Milwaukee Irish Fest later that week. A mix of the Pogues, Dropkick Murphys and Bad Religion, this five-piece was put together by Ireland native, Eoin McCarthy. They are a group of talented musicians dedicated to playing high-energy, raucous concerts filled with an unmistakable mixture of American and Irish rock. A batch of maniac, Celtic gypsy carnies, the group extensively tours, almost never leaving the road. You do not want to miss their live show.
During this special night of local music and a live radio segment at Club Garibaldi, WMSE Music Director Erin Wolf and co-host Cal Roach will lead Whiskey of The Damned through questions in between their live sets. As an audience member, you can get in on the interview, too. Our audience is allowed to pick our guests’ brains by writing out their questions for Cal and Erin to ask, live on the radio.
Doors open at 5:30 p.m.; segment starts at 6 p.m. and runs until 7 p.m.
If you can’t join us for the live segment and show at Club Garibaldi, please tune in, per usual, to 91.7 FM (or stream online at WMSE.org) at the 6 o’clock hour.
Local/Live on WMSE is sponsored by The Garage.
