WisGOP Thanks Speaker Robin Vos for Years of Service
MADISON, Wis. — Today, Speaker Robin Vos announced his retirement from the Wisconsin State Assembly. As Speaker, Vos has been a central figure in Republican politics, steering conservative priorities, blocking much of Democratic Governor Tony Evers‘ disastrous policies, and shaping key policy outcomes on issues like taxes, affordable housing, and other Republican priorities.
“Speaker Robin Vos has been influential to Republican politics for decades. We thank him for his tireless service and dedication to Republican successes. As speaker, Vos was dedicated to the people of Wisconsin and doing the best thing for our state, while keeping a Republican majority, and we look forward to continuing that success for years to come,” stated Chairman Brian Schimming.NOTE: This press release was submitted to Urban Milwaukee and was not written by an Urban Milwaukee writer.
