WisDOT to Host Rescheduled Safer Together Community Event on August 26
Families, transportation partners and the public are invited to join the Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) on August 26 for the third annual Safer Together Community Event in Madison. This date was rescheduled due to heavy rain in June. The event at Rennebohm Park highlights the partnerships and safety initiatives that aim to improve safety for all transportation users in Wisconsin.

Children’s activities, educational booths and demonstrations will feature the technologies and programs that focus on transportation safety in Wisconsin. Activities include a meet and greet with a State Patrol K-9 team, demonstrations of automated vehicles, drone inspections, work zone traffic control devices, school bus safety inspections, driver education information, and much more.
