MILWAUKEE, WI— The Wisconsin LGBT Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce the addition of Nick Barth as the Chamber’s new Chief of Staff and Heather Tice as the new Marketing & Communications Manager.

“We are thrilled to welcome Nick Barth and Heather Tice to the Wisconsin LGBT Chamber of Commerce as our two newest team members,” said Jason Rae, President & CEO of the Wisconsin LGBT Chamber. “It’s a new and exciting time for the Chamber. Bringing on Nick and Heather will allow us to continue to build a welcoming and inclusive business community here in Wisconsin. With their focus on strategy implementation and marketing efforts, we will have a tremendous impact on creating an inclusive business community for LGBTQ+ and allied businesses.”

Nick Barth is joining the team as Chief of Staff, a new position at the Chamber. He will provide strategy support, manage day-to-day operations, and oversee the implementation of strategic initiatives for the Chamber. He brings over 10 years of management experience, most recently as Chief Technology Officer for OnMilwaukee. Barth holds a degree in Mathematics from Viterbo University and finds that background helps drive his success. “Solving problems is the basis for my work, whether it’s building a website or making a business run,” Barth said. “I look forward to making a difference in the community with my work at the Wisconsin LGBT Chamber of Commerce. I’m excited to make Wisconsin a great place for everyone.”

Heather Tice has been brought on as the Marketing and Communications Manager, another new role in the organization. She graduated from the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh with degrees in Public Relations and Journalism. Tice has spent the last three years working with organizations on their social media presence as well as their digital marketing needs. At the Chamber, she will lead the Chamber’s efforts to steward its reputation and communicate effectively with its members, the broader business community, public officials, and the public at-large. “I’m excited to be a part of an organization that is building up LGBTQ and allied businesses in the state and is making a difference,” Tice said.

“I cannot wait to see what these two dynamic leaders will be able to accomplish,” added Rae.

These two positions were funded through the Diverse Business Assistance Grant Program awarded by Governor Evers and the Wisconsin Department of Administration.
