Dr. Christine S. Tempas, a retired general dentist and resident of Sheboygan Falls, Wis., has been elected president of the Wisconsin Dental Association Foundation.

Dr. Tempas served on the WDA Foundation board of directors from 1993 until 2016 and has always been a strong advocate for the work of the WDA Foundation. During her 24 years of service to the board, Dr. Tempas helped educate the dental community about the good works of the organization, resulting in a notable increase in general and financial support for its programs.

Dr. James Morgenroth, a retired general dentist from Brookfield, has completed his term as president and moves to the position of immediate past-president.

Re-elected to the foundation board was Treasurer Dr. Susan Cable, a general dentist in Kenosha. Dr. Cable was elected to the WDA Foundation board of directors in 2010 to represent the southeast region and has served as treasurer since 2017.

Mr. Thomas Witkowski, retired WDA Insurance and Services Corp. president and St. Petersburg, Florida resident, has been named director emeritus following many years of commitment to the WDA Foundation board of directors.
