Wisconsin Conservation Voters to Deliver Petition to Rep. Van Orden and Demand Accountability and Affordability
LA CROSSE – On Wednesday, Aug. 26, Wisconsin Conservation Voters will deliver signatures to Representative Derrick Van Orden (CD-3) at his office in La Crosse to demand he fight for affordability for all Wisconsinites.
Rep. Van Orden has spent his time in Congress defending the interests of corporate polluters and billionaires while selling out his constituents who are struggling with skyrocketing energy and housing bills. Wisconsin Conservation Voters has been organizing all summer to demand accountability, and this campaign will culminate in the delivery of petition signatures to Rep. Van Orden.
The people of Wisconsin’s 3rd Congressional District deserve better from their representative. On Wednesday, Aug. 26, Wisconsin Conservation Voters will show Rep. Van Orden how out of step he is with his constituents, and deliver a clear message: our bills are too damn high.
