Wisconsin Center District Names Sarah Maio Vice President, Marketing and Communications

Maio has been with the WCD for the past three years as director of marketing.

MILWAUKEE, WI – (February 20, 2019) –  The Wisconsin Center District (WCD) has promoted Sarah Maio to the position of Vice President of Marketing and Communications, effective immediately. The WCD owns and operates the Miller High Life Theatre, UW-Milwaukee Panther Arena, and Wisconsin Center.

Maio has been with the WCD for the past three years as director of marketing.

“Sarah has made significant improvements to WCD’s marketing efforts,” said Marty Brooks, President and CEO of the Wisconsin Center District. “This promotion reflects her role in my leadership team. Sarah embodies the creativity, dedication, and enthusiasm I aspire all of our staff to have.”

Maio has been in the Milwaukee marketplace since the early 2000’s. Her experience includes a variety of product lines and business models, including arts, non-profit, franchise, and global brands.

“The opportunity to work with Marty and the senior leadership team on high-level strategic planning is incredibly exciting,” said Maio. “I feel proud and energized to contribute to the narrative of these three storied buildings in the coming years.”
