Winter is here, but that doesn’t mean it has to be boring!

Calling all beginners, masters, and everyone in between: 2020 Winter Leagues start January 12^th and Bars & Recreation has two fiery activities for you and your crew to choose from: Axe Throwing Leagues and Milwaukee’s only Deck Shuffleboard League. Gather your team of up to four players for the ultimate winter competition.

Axe Throwing Winter Leagues take place on Mondays at AXE MKE and Wednesdays at NorthSouth Club. No experience necessary – Axe Masters coach every participant to unleash his or her inner lumberjack.

For those not into throwing axes, Milwaukee’s only Deck Shuffleboard League at NorthSouth Club is the latest addition to the Milwaukee League scene. Participants will learn the game with the assistance of a ShufflePro and will quickly see why shuffleboard is one of the fastest growing bar sports both in and out of Florida.

Bars and Recreation leagues also include unbeatable perks. Registered members of the axe throwing league can throw axes for free every Sunday at NorthSouth Club starting the date the team has signed up through Sunday, March 1, 2020. Likewise, free shuffleboard on Sundays is included for all shuffleboard league members as well.

Plus, registered teams enjoy $1 off all Lakefront Brewery beers and Jack Daniel’s cocktails every league night. There are cool prizes for different games throughout the league. Don’t get blue feeling stuck inside this winter. Bars & Rec is ready – Let’s play, MKE!
