Westown Summer Concert Series Presents Brother
Brother’s signature vocals, soaring bagpipes and tribal percussion are unlike anything you have heard before.
MILWAUKEE – Downtown Milwaukee’s live music destination, River Rhythms, welcomes Brother to the stage on Wednesday, August 14th. Presented by Miller Lite, the free concert series continues every Wednesday through August 28th from 6:30 to 9 p.m. at Pere Marquette Park.
Brother’s signature vocals, soaring bagpipes and tribal percussion are unlike anything you have heard before. The powerhouse, celtic trio has captivated audiences around the world, sharing stages with superstars Joe Walsh, Linkin Park and Alicia Keys. Get ready for Brother’s performance to take you to another world!
During this week’s performance you can cool down from Brother’s hot set with a scoop of ice cream! The Milwaukee County Historical Society hosts their annual Ice Cream Social on the MCHS patio at the southwest end of the park. See the Historical Center building, their exhibit How Dry I Am: Prohibition Milwaukee and learn about ways to volunteer while you enjoy a free scoop of Cedar Crest Ice Cream.
While you enjoy the variety of music each week, you can also treat yourself to delicious food and beverage. Get snacks from local food vendors or stop by the Westown Beverage tent for soft drinks, Miller Lite beer buckets, wine and Tito’s Handmade Vodka mixers for purchase.
Parking is provided by Interstate Parking at 751 North Plankinton Avenue and 601 West State Street for $3.00 with code River19.
