Weekend overnight maintenance work to occur along I-94 in Waukesha County

The Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) is notifying motorists of upcoming overnight lane closures along I-94 in Waukesha County. During the evening hours of Saturday, August 24, Waukesha County maintenance crews will begin preventative maintenance along I-94 between Moorland Road and 124th Street. To safely implement these repairs, crews require the following overnight closures:

  • Eastbound I-94 will have the three left lanes closed from Moorland Road to 124th Street beginning at 9:30 p.m. on Saturday, August 24, and ending at 8 a.m. Sunday morning.
    • Both entrance ramps to I-94 eastbound from Moorland Road will be closed overnight.
  • Westbound I-94 will have the three left lanes closed from 124th Street to Moorland Road beginning at 12 a.m. on Sunday, August 25 and ending at 8:00 a.m.
    • The exit ramp to Moorland Road northbound will be closed for approximately one hour during this closure.
