WBB Falls at No. 5 UConn in Regular-Season Finale

The Marquette University women’s basketball team fell at No. 5 UConn in its regular-season finale on Sunday, 92-57.

The Golden Eagles (20-9, 12-6 BIG EAST) were led by Jaidynn Mason, who had 13 points, three rebounds and three steals. Skylar Forbes (12 points) and Lee Volker (10 points) joined Mason in double-figures.

The Huskies (28-3, 18-0 BIG EAST) were led by Paige Bueckers, who had 19 points and seven assists.

NOTABLES:

• Marquette finished the conference season with a 5-4 road record, the most road wins by a first-year head coach in program history.
• Jaidynn Mason led the team in scoring for the third time this season.
