Washington Park Wednesdays
Old School is the theme for July 26th as your Washington Park Neighbors welcome friends from the Wisconsin Conservatory Orchestra for sensational Suzuki String performances. The Conservatory is descended from several Wisconsin music institutions and today is the largest independent non-profit music school in Wisconsin. Over 100 highly trained teaching artists provide expert individual, group, and ensemble instruction to more than 16,000 students each year. Help welcome performers as they display the outstanding mentorship they are known for.
Headlining the evening of inspired orchestra music is the Concord Chamber Orchestra. Comprised of 50 volunteer musicians, this group performs all over Wisconsin in smaller, audience-driven concerts. Washington Parks historic Temple of Music was designed for performances like this!
Old School night might feel a little New School as our friends experiment with audience-engaging modern twists on orchestral music!
