Vote Mama Endorses Marina for Alderwoman!
"The endorsement of Vote Mama means so much to me and my family."
Today Vote Mama endorsed Marina for Alderwoman.
Vote Mama is dedicated to supporting Democratic moms running for office. All endorsed moms support paid family leave, universal pre-k, a women’s right to choose, and universal background checks for all gun purchases.
“I am thrilled to endorse Marina in her historic campaign for the Milwaukee Common Council. Marina is an incredible advocate for women, families, and breastfeeding equity and I could not be more excited to work with her to win in 2020. Marina is exactly the kind of inspiring and hardworking mom I launched Vote Mama to support,” said Liuba Gretchen Shirley, founder of Vote Mama.
“The endorsement of Vote Mama means so much to me and my family. Working mothers face unique barriers when we run for political office, but every day I serve the pubic, I am reminded why we must be at the table making decisions for our future. Thank you Vote Mama for your support,” said Marina Dimitrijevic.
Vote Mama is dedicated to supporting moms running for office due to the cultural and structural hurdles mom face, many choose to wait until their children are grown before running for political office.
