UW Credit Union Announces New Chief Information Officer Ralph Buelling

Buelling to lead information technology strategy and implementation

Madison, WI – Dec. 6, 2021 – Ralph Buelling joins UW Credit Union today as the organization’s Chief Information Officer (CIO). Buelling will lead the implementation of strategic information and data services, data analytics, and e-commerce technology initiatives, representing the high-performing Information Technology (IT) and Information Systems (IS) departments on the organization’s executive management team.

Buelling most recently served as CIO and VP of Information Technology at Dean Health Plan, where he oversaw all IT functions, including technology strategy, enterprise architecture, agile delivery, cybersecurity, infrastructure, and operations. Prior to that, he held positions with Health Care Service Corporation (HCSC) as Divisional Vice President of Business Portfolio, Executive Director of Strategy and Planning, and Executive Director of Enterprise Architecture.
