UPAF Seeks Nominations for “60 for 60” Performing Arts Champions
MILWAUKEE, WI (Sept. 3, 2026) – The United Performing Arts Fund (UPAF) is seeking public nominations for “60 for 60,” an anniversary initiative recognizing 60 individuals whose leadership, generosity, advocacy or service has helped Southeastern Wisconsin’s performing arts community thrive.
For six decades, donors, volunteers, artists, arts professionals, and civic partners have sustained a shared cultural legacy whose impact reaches stages, classrooms, careers, businesses and communities throughout the region. As UPAF approaches its 60th anniversary in 2027, “60 for 60” will celebrate people who helped build that legacy—and inspire a new generation to help shape what comes next.
The 60 performing arts champions will be recognized throughout 2027, including at UPAF’s Visionaries event in spring 2027, where UPAF will highlight the honorees’ contributions to the performing arts and the Southeastern Wisconsin community.
UPAF invites community members throughout Southeastern Wisconsin to submit nominations. Nominations are open through September 30 at www.upaf.org/60for60.
