MILWAUKEE — Caroline Gómez-Tom, candidate for Milwaukee County Board in District 14 in the May 2 special general election, announced today she’s been endorsed by Travis Hope, who also ran in this race.

“Caroline is a strong and able leader that will connect our neighborhoods to county services and listen to our issues for a safer neighborhood for all,” said Hope. “I give her my full support and endorsement for the general election”

“Travis has a long history as a community organizer on the south side and brought important issues to the fore during his campaign,” said Gómez-Tom. “I’m honored to have his support, and together we will ensure we defeat the staunch right-wing activist I’m now running against.”

Gomez-Tom came in first in the special primary election for District 14 this past Tuesday, and is now running one-on-one against perennial right-wing candidate Angel Sanchez.
