New Flavors Means More Mixing

Milwaukee (August 14, 2018) – Top Note, makers of award-winning tonic and ginger beer, are now adding Grapefruit Soda to the mix and they are kicking off the launch of this new flavor with a fun cyclist event in Milwaukee, WI, on August 25, 2018. The event will combine bicycle riding and responsible consumption of Radlers (a popular low alcohol beer cocktail that mixes soda and beer) across eight different locations throughout the city. This year’s Top Note Radler Ride will raise money for Dream Bikes, a non-profit 501c3 organization, located in Riverwest.

“We thought if we are going to do a ride again this year, we should not only support the great bars and breweries that have been good patrons of Top Note, but also give back to the community. Dream Bikes was a great way to do that,” said Pellettieri.  Dream Bikes will be collecting optional donated bikes at the starting points of the bar crawl. The ride is free to register, but any funds raised at registration will go directly to Dream Bikes.

This year’s ride is split up into 2 legs; one on the North Side through the 3rd Ward, and one on the South Side from Bayview to Walkers Point and back.

1.) North Side through the 3rd Ward; starting at Good City Brewery at Noon, to Ale Asylum, to Toast, to the end location at Mob Craft.

2.) South Side from Bay View to Walker’s Point and back; starts at Sugar Maple at Noon, to Mob Craft, to Enlightened Brewery, to Lost Whale and finish at 1840 Brewery .

“The North Side route is a little longer, and paced nicely between accounts. We are starting again at Good City Brewery this year, and riders end up at Mob Craft. Riders may run into the South Side riders at Mob Craft!” said Pellettieri. She continued, “The South Side route starts at Sugar Maple, then up to Mob Craft, and back down through Bayview with Enlightened Brewery, Lost Whale and 1840 Brewery all mixing something unique up for the event.”

Top Note is reminding all riders to ride responsibly and stay safe during the ride. Riders will receive a t-shirt for participating. The ride is August 25, 2018 at 12:00 PM start. Starting points are Good City Brewery on the North Side and the Sugar Maple Bar on the South Side and both points will have a spot for bike donations to be left behind. Ride will take place rain or shine and the Radler drinks will likely stay on the menus at the participating bars until the early release stock runs out. The Grapefruit Soda will be released at a later date this fall for retail store shelves in an unique new bottle.
