Saturday, June 24, marks the 2017 IS Corp Otto Wenz Downer Classic. The races will start and finish at N. Downer Ave. & E. Belleview Pl. Races will take place throughout the day with the first starting at 9:35 a.m. and the last finishing at approximately 8:30 p.m.

The Downer Classic Pro Criterium has been taking place annually since 2009. It has quickly become one of the highlights for Wisconsin cyclists, drawing tens of thousands of spectators over the years. The Classic also features the only fixed gear criteriums in the Midwest, The Fyxation Open.

The event is a great time for all ages.

Also – please be aware that the East Side Summer Soulstice Music Festival will also be taking place tomorrow (Saturday, June 24). Please watch for street closures connected with that event (portions of North-Murray-Farwell-Thomas-Prospect Ave.).
