Suspect criminally charged in connection to a fatal crash that killed a beloved Dean from Marquette University

On Wednesday, January 20, 2021, the Milwaukee County District Attorney’s Office issued criminal charges against Jordan Jones in connection to a fatal accident that caused the death of Marquette University Dean Joseph Daniels. The incident occurred on Tuesday, February 11, 2020, at approximately 8:11 p.m., on the 1000 block of W. Wisconsin Avenue.

Jones was charged with one count of Hit and Run – Resulting in Death and one count of Knowingly Operate Motor Vehicle While Suspended – Cause Death. If convicted he could face up to 31 years in prison and he may be fined up to $110,000.
