Supervisor Steve F. Taylor Condemns Violence Against Charlie Kirk, Urges Return to Civil Political Discourse
MILWAUKEE – Milwaukee County Supervisor Steve F. Taylor issued the following statement today regarding the recent violent incident involving Charlie Kirk:
“What happened is beyond disgusting and more than a tragedy. It shows that no one in the political arena is safe, even while having a civil conversation. Tension in political discourse is at an all-time high, and, after this incident, the temperature is sure to rise. Passionate debate is appropriate – but any type of violence is unacceptable. Both sides need to do better and be better.
“May God bless Charlie Kirk and his family, whose lives will be forever changed.”
