MILWAUKEE (June 13, 2022) – Former Wisconsin Badger, Marquette Golden Eagle, and Milwaukee Panther star basketball players will reunite to raise money for charity and to prove who is still number one on the court.

The Alumni Charity Challenge competition will take place Friday, July 8, 2022, during Summerfest at the Gruber Law Offices Sportszone.  Alumni players from each university will compete in a series of shooting competitions, in support of three charitable organizations, Garding Against Cancer (University of Wisconsin Badgers), Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Milwaukee (Marquette Golden Eagles), and the MACC Fund/Midwest Athletes Against Childhood Cancer (University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee).

Participating alumni players include the following, (more to be announced soon):

The Alumni Charity Challenge will consist of each team competing in three rounds of shooting competitions. The winner of each round will earn 100 team points.  The team entering the competition with the highest number of donations will receive 50 points. The team entering the competition with the most money raised will also receive 50 points. The team who ends the competition with the most total points wins the Alumni Charity Challenge.

The winning team’s charity partner will receive 60% of the funds and the charities for the other two teams will each receive 20% of the total funds raised.

The Alumni Charity Challenge will be emceed by Melanie Ricks, Milwaukee Bucks in-game host and host of MKE in the Morning on 101.7 The Truth and include a performance from the Davis Club Dance Team and appearances from university mascots.
