MILWAUKEE River Rhythms, downtown Milwaukee’s destination for music on Wednesday evenings, welcomes Light Up (A Tribute to Styx) to the stage on Wednesday, July 18th. The free concert series takes place from 6:30 – 9 p.m. every Wednesday through August 29th in Pere Marquette Park on Old World Third Street between State and Kilbourn.

Light Up (A Tribute to Styx) captures the excitement of one of the most popular bands from the 1970s.   Comprised of some of the finest musicians in the area, Light Up’s incredible lights and sounds will create the “Grand Illusion” of a live concert in Pere Marquette Park. Concert goers will be able to close their eyes and believe they are experiencing the real band.

Miller products, Malibu & Absolut cocktails, wine and soda will be available at the Westown beverage tent with all proceeds going to benefit the free event. Patrons can also enjoy food options from local food trucks and restaurants.

New this year: concert attendees will now have more parking options available to them.   Parking will be provided by Interstate Parking at 751 North Plankinton Avenue and 601 West State Street for $3.00 with code 0004.
