Brookfield, WI — Tom Palzewicz, candidate for the U.S. House of Representatives in Wisconsin’s 5th district today issued the following statement in response to U.S. Senate Candidate Kevin Nicholson questioning the “cognitive thought process” of military veterans who are Democrats.

“The six years I served in the U.S. Navy and four years spent serving on a nuclear submarine had nothing to do with partisan politics. I took an oath to defend the United States Constitution. Defending our Country and Constitution is neither a conservative or liberal value, it’s an American value.”

“Patriotism is not partisan, and to suggest otherwise is simply un-American. For almost every member of the Armed Forces, for veterans, for military families, country comes before party, but apparently not for Kevin Nicholson. He should be ashamed.”

Tom Palzewicz is a Navy veteran and business owner who is running to bring responsible and common-sense solutions to Congress. The general election will be held Tuesday, November 6, 2018.
