State Representative JoCasta Zamarripa Endorses Dimitrijevic for the State Assembly

Rep. JoCasta Zamarripa announced her support for Marina Dimitrijevic in Assembly District 19.

Representative JoCasta Zamarripa, Wisconsin’s first Latina elected to the State Legislature proudly announced her support for Marina Dimitrijevic in Assembly District 19 today. Rep. Zamarripa is a lifelong resident of Milwaukee like Marina and is currently is Vice-Chair of the State Assembly Democratic Caucus.

“Chairwoman Dimitrijevic was the first elected official to endorse my campaign in 2010. We have worked together on advancing equality and immigrant rights. Marina is the clear choice and I look forward to continuing to work closely with her in the State Assembly,” said Representative JoCasta Zamarripa.

“As the daughter of an immigrant who came here in search of the American Dream, I am committed to making sure that everyone in Wisconsin has a fair shot at that same dream. I am honored to have the support of Representative Zamarripa, a trailblazer in the State Assembly.
