SPEARity™ Announces Award Winners at APEx Planning Event

Milwaukee, Wis. – March 22, 2021 – SPEARity has announced four winners of the 2021 SPEARhead™ awards presented earlier this month at the quarterly APEx (Agile Planning Experience) event. Winners are: Strategic Non-Profit of the Year, Westown Association; Strategic Business of the Year, Extension, Inc.; Strategic Leader of the Year, Morgan Nielsen; Strategic Partner of the Year, Scale Up Milwaukee. SPEARity also recognized two members as SPEAR™ Certified Organizations, for their commitment to growth and continuous improvement. They are Artery Ink. (3rd year), and New Eden Landscape Architecture (1st year).

SPEARity is a Milwaukee-based consulting firm that specializes in business coaching, executive coaching, and leadership development training. SPEARity has won numerous awards during the past year.

Winner of the Strategic Non-Profit of the Year, Stacie Callies, Executive Director of Westown Association, said, “We are honored to receive this award. The strategic planning process completely shifted the dynamic of our small organization. Our board is now fully engaged in our future.”

Winner of the Strategic Business of the Year, Joey Barian, CEO of Extension, Inc., said, “I cannot thank Darren and his team enough, for the guidance, coaching and mentoring that they’ve done over the past year with us. We challenged every corner of our business and powered through what could have been one of our worst years ever. I am surrounded by the hardest working people I have the privilege to work with, and we have people in the right spot.”
