Small Business Development Exposition Set for Thursday, November 29

Interim Director Nelson Soler of Milwaukee County Community Development Business Partners (CBDP) is pleased to announce the 2012 Small Business Development Exposition to be held Thursday, November 29, 2012 from 7:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the Milwaukee County Zoo’s Peck Conference Center, 10001 W. Bluemound Rd., Milwaukee 53226.

The forum will provide an opportunity for small and disadvantage businesses to network with entrepreneurs, Milwaukee County procurement officers, consultants and contractors.

“It’s a chance for small business owners to learn how to do business with Milwaukee County, to make key investment decisions and to connect with resources for business growth” said Soler.

The exposition will feature keynote speaker Lee Swindall, vice president of business and industry development for the Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation (WEDC). Lee has more than 30 years of experience in business development.

The $40 registration fee includes breakfast, lunch, cost of materials and Zoo admission.

CBDP’s mission is to increase the economic vitality of small and disadvantaged businesses, while empowering them to grow their business.
