Selena Themed Art Festival Set To Take Place This Weekend

Fiesta Selena — a two-day community arts festival that honors the late singer Selena Quintanilla-
Pérez this weekend. The festival is hosted by American Family Insurance- J. Mercado Agency Inc. and takes place on Saturday, September 14 from 11:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. and Sunday, September
15 from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at The Farmhouse Paint Bar & Banquet Hall, 4511 S. 6th St.
Fiesta Selena will celebrate “The Queen of Tex-Mex music” and the festival will feature live
music, local artisan vendors, Selena-inspired art installations, a fashion show with Latinx designers,
family-friendly activities, and art auctions that will benefit Milwaukee area organizations. For more information on art class offerings and festival details, go to

The festival schedule of public events:

  • 11:00 AM each day: Market opens
  • 12:00 PM each day: Live music
  • 1:00 PM on Sunday: Interactive dance class
  • 2:00 PM on Sunday: Fashion show and monologue
  • 4:00 PM on Saturday: Ribbon cutting and blessing/live music
  • 4:00 PM on Sunday: Look-alike contest
  • 5:00 PM on Saturday: Canvas painting/interactive dance class
  • 6:00 PM on Saturday: Performance by Panadanza
  • 7:00 PM on Saturday: Selena tribute concert
  • 10:00 PM on Saturday: DJ Party
  • Market closes at 11:00 PM Saturday/5:00 PM Sunday
