Rolling Stone Featured Rock Group, Trapper Schoepp, Debuts at River Rhythms this Week

Trapper Schoepp is a blend of rock and Wisconsin state pride.

Milwaukee, WI— River Rhythms, downtown’s destination for music on Wednesday evenings welcomes Trapper Schoepp to the stage this week Wednesday, July 15th . The free concert series takes place from 6:30-9 p.m. every Wednesday until August 26th in Pere Marquette Park on Old World Third St. between State and Kilbourn.

Trapper Schoepp is a blend of rock and Wisconsin state pride. The group has toured nationally and been recognized by Rolling Stone magazine for poetic originality. According to the band’s website, “ The band also was the recipient of 88.9 Radio Milwaukee’s 2012 Album of the Year and Wisconsin Area Music Industry’s 2012 Song of the Year.”

Miller products, wine and soda will be available at the Westown Beverage tent with all proceeds going to benefit the free event. Patrons can also enjoy food from Simmer, Eats and Treats and Laura’s Gourmet Popcorn.
