Riverwest Brewing Syndicate Colab Beer Release Party Thursday, May 18th

The Riverwest Brewery Syndicate (RBS) will release the next beer in their collaboration series this Thursday, May 18th with a party at Riverwest Pizza (922 E Wright St) starting at 6pm. The beer will be available on draft along with great food from Riverwest Pizza and representatives from the breweries. The weather looks great, so it will be a great opportunity to take advantage of the covered patio and kick patio season off right!

The RBS consists of all five Riverwest Breweries stretching from the Southern end of the neighborhood to the Northern: Lakefront Brewery, Company Brewing, Black Husky Brewing, Amorphic Beer, and Gathering Place Brewing Company. The breweries release a collaboration beer several times per year, rotating which is responsible for producing the brew, with each participating in the brew day. The beer is then released at a local establishment and distributed primarily in and to support the neighborhood!

This edition is “The Syndicate Belgian IPA”, a take on a style that had a brief popularity a few years ago. This one blends the traditions of old with that of modern IPAs, providing a moderate bitterness and Belgian yeast esters coupled with a modern dry hop addition of Citra and Amarillo for a citrus punch.
