Rep. Mark Pocan’s Statement on VP Mike Pence’s Announced Visit to Wisconsin

By - Sep 10th, 2020 08:09 pm

(WISCONSIN) — The following is a statement from Congressman Mark Pocan on Vice President Mike Pence‘s announced visit to Wisconsin:

Donald Trump and his administration have completely failed to keep Wisconsinites safe and healthy while our state has faced unprecedented crises, and worst of all, they failed on purpose. Their negligence and ineptitude has left nearly 200,000 of our fellow citizens dead, millions unemployed, and a nation crying out for leadership. We deserve answers, not more excuses, from Mike Pence when he comes to our state next week for yet another photo-op. His and Trump’s time would be better spent actually doing their jobs in Washington instead of these desperate attempts to change the narrative.”
