Rep. Madison Explains Leave of Absence on Tuesday, October 17th
MADISON – On Tuesday, October 17th, Rep. Madison received a leave of absence from the Assembly Floor due to Medical reasons.
“A medical emergency on Tuesday, October 17th forced me to step off the Assembly Floor and receive an ambulance ride to Meriter Hospital. Thankfully, I was discharged from the hospital on Tuesday night in mostly good health. I am very grateful for the ambulance, fire department, and hospital staff who responded and took care of me.
I’m honored to continue to fight for the residents of the 10th District and the most marginalized communities in the state. The work that we do is not easy, but it is necessary. I am very thankful for my Assembly colleagues, constituents, and community who continue to support my work while championing our shared values.”
