Rep. Goyke Sworn In For Third Term

MADISON – State Rep. Evan Goyke (D-Milwaukee) was sworn in today for his third term representing the 18th Assembly District. Rep. Goyke participated in the Inauguration ceremony for the State Legislature at the State Capitol.
“I am honored to represent the community that I love,” Rep. Goyke said.
“I am humbled by the confidence and trust that my neighbors and fellow community members have placed in me to represent them in the legislature. The 18th Assembly District is home to a diverse and vibrant community that is full of energy. I will continue bringing this same energy and positivity to the Capitol as I work alongside my neighbors to build a brighter future for our community and future leaders – our youth.”
Throughout the 2017-19 legislative session Rep. Goyke will serve as Ranking Member on the Assembly Committee on Criminal Justice and Public Safety and the Committee on Family Law. He will also serve as a member of the Assembly Committees on Corrections, Housing, and Veterans.
Rep. Goyke lives in Milwaukee and currently resides in the Historic Concordia Neighborhood.
