Rep. Fitzgerald Honors the Fallen on 80th Anniversary of the Pearl Harbor Attack
WASHINGTON, DC – Today, Congressman Scott Fitzgerald (WI-05) issued the following statement to honor the fallen on the 80th anniversary of the attack on Pearl Harbor:
“December 7, 1941, 80 years ago today, the United States Naval Base at Pearl Harbor was descended upon by a Japanese surprise attack. We lost 2,403 brave Americans, including 68 civilians, that fateful morning, and today, we pay our respects to those who made the ultimate sacrifice and the heroes who fought on valiantly to protect our country and defend our freedoms. Today, we remember and honor the fallen of Pearl Harbor. We will never forget!”
