Registration for UWM’s Osher Summer Programs Opens May 2

Become an Osher Lifelong Learn Institute member today and enjoy your summer learning

MILWAUKEE, WI, April 28, 2023 — UWM’s Osher Lifelong Learning Institute is excited to open registration for its summer programming, including talks, workshops, day trips and more. Registration opens May 2 at uwm.edu/sce/osher/.

“The Osher Lifelong Learning Institute is designed for adults 50 and over who have a passion for learning,” says Sarah Grammer, UWM Osher director. “We have a lot lined up for this summer, giving participants the chance to learn something new, stay active and engage with others.”

This summer Osher members can enjoy a wide selection of day tours such as visiting the Urban Stables, the Hunger Task Force Farm and Warehouse and the Wisconsin Memorial Park Cemetery. Talks and discussion groups are also popular and range from web programming to the Billboard top 10 of 1973 to the history of weather forecasting and more.
