Quarles Achieves Mansfield Rule 5.0 Certification
October 19, 2022 (Milwaukee) – The national law firm of Quarles & Brady LLP announced today that it has achieved Mansfield Rule 5.0 Certification Plus, a recognition of its ongoing efforts to embrace diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) across the firm. Quarles is also participating in the Mansfield Rule 6.0 certification process now underway.
“Participation in Mansfield Rule certification provides us with an important system for ensuring that we’re taking real steps to deepen our commitment to DEI,” said Ony Beverly, chief people and diversity officer at Quarles. “Building a truly diverse organization where people at all levels can bring their full selves to work each day not only is critical to our long-term success, but also enables us to deliver better results for our clients.”
To achieve Mansfield 5.0 Certification Plus, firms must collaborate with Diversity Lab over a 12-month certification period with built-in measurement, transparency and accountability mechanisms.
“It takes a lot of work for firms to make even incremental changes to long standing systems, and it is an absolute honor for the Diversity Lab team to see what these firms have achieved over the course of the year-long certification cycle,” said Kavita Ramakrishnan, Diversity Lab’s senior director of Mansfield Rule and knowledge sharing. “The firms enthusiastically engaged with Mansfield’s rigorous challenges while sharing learnings with each other to ensure a collective ‘win.’ Every Certified and Certified Plus firm should take great pride in this hard-earned accomplishment!”
