Power Hour networking event to honor Youth Council, accept donations for unhoused
Alderman Mark Chambers, Jr. and Common Council colleagues will host a special Power Hour networking event TOMORROW – Wednesday, December 11 from 5:30 – 7:30 p.m. in the City Hall Rotunda, 200 E. Wells St.
The holiday season networking event will specifically honor the City of Milwaukee Youth Council, and toiletries or donations to purchase socks, scarves, and T-shirts will be collected and distributed to homeless shelters.Hosted by Alderman Chambers, Alderwoman Andrea M. Pratt, Alderman Lamont Westmoreland, Alderman DiAndre Jackson, Alderwoman Larresa Taylor, Alderwoman Sharlen P. Moore, and Alderman Russell W. Stamper, II, tomorrow’s event will provide young professionals an opportunity to network, make connections, and build relationships that will strengthen our community. The event is free and open to the public. No RSVP is required. Light refreshments will be provided.
“This Power Hour will be a fantastic networking opportunity, and a great way to boost the holiday spirit and share a cup of cheer,” Alderman Chambers said. “Please join us tomorrow at City Hall.”
