Statement from Planned Parenthood Advocates of Wisconsin Director of Communications Analiese Eicher.
“This is another attempt by legislative Republicans to strip away rights and freedoms from Wisconsinites and ban abortion care in our state.”
This effort does not change the legal status of abortion in Wisconsin. Patients can continue to receive abortion care at Planned Parenthood of Wisconsin (PPWI) health centers in Milwaukee, Madison, and Sheboygan. PPWI will continue to work toward protecting and expanding abortion care in Wisconsin. Appointments can be made at ppwi.org.
