“PPAWI is thrilled to congratulate all of our endorsed candidates including: Dr. Jill Underly (Wisconsin State Superintendent of Public Instruction), Joe Parisi (Dane County Executive), and Andrew McKinney (Monona Grove School Board.)

“We know that having a proponent of abstinence based comprehensive sex education at the head of Wisconsin’s Department of Public Instruction is crucial to supporting equitable health care for Wisconsinites. Dr. Underly is also an advocate for racial, gender and sexuality equity, fair and full funding for public schools and early childhood education which are also vital to creating equitable communities. Her decades of service in Wisconsin schools will make her an excellent leader in state education as well as community building.”
