Milwaukee Parkside School for the Arts will host a community market TOMORROW –Saturday, September 14 at the Garden District Community Space at S. 6th and W. Norwich St., Alderman Scott Spiker said.
Parkside’s Community Market will be held Saturday from 9 a.m. to noon.

market. Two 30 x 70 foot hoop houses are located adjacent to the area where the market will be set up.
With help from Parkside’s ag program coordinator Erin Dentice, Parkside students grow vegetables and
fruit in the hoop houses.
Alderman Spiker said Saturday’s community market will feature activities for children (in
partnership with the Bay View Community Center) and sensory-friendly yoga at 10 a.m. for families.
“I encourage everyone to stop by tomorrow and see what the Parkside Community Market is all
about,” the alderman said.
