Packers Place DL Parsons on Injured Reserve
The Green Bay Packers have placed DL Micah Parsons on injured reserve. General Manager Brian Gutekunst announced the transaction Wednesday.
Parsons played in 14 games with 13 starts, recording 41 tackles (19 solo), 12.5 sacks (No. 1 on the team and tied for No. 3 in the NFL), 12 tackles for a loss (No. 1 on the team and tied for No. 9 in the league), 26 QB hits (No. 1 on the team and No. 4 in the NFL) and 83 Next Gen Stat pressures (No. 1 in the league). He was named the NFC Defensive Player of the Week for his performance at Arizona (Week 7) and was named the NFC Defensive Player of the Month for October (Weeks 5-8).
