Pabst Mansion Open House: In Celebration of their 125th Anniversary

In the true spirit of Gemutichkeit, the Pabst Family is sponsoring a free Open House Day on Saturday, July 29, 2017 to celebrate the 125th Anniversary of the beautiful Pabst Mansion. Museum visitors will have the opportunity to enjoy free self-­‐guided tours of the Pabst Mansion. Concessions will be provided by Shully’s Cuisine and Events and will offer Usinger’s brats and Pabst beer for sale. The Open House will also include live polka music!

10:00 – 3:00 p.m. – 125th Anniversary Pabst Mansion Open House with self-­‐ guided tours of the Pabst Mansion

12:00 – 2:00 p.m. – Concessions provided by Shully’s Cuisine and Events. Usinger’s brats and Pabst Blue Ribbon beer, soda, water and chips will be available for purchase. Cash and Credit Accepted. Pabst Family Members will be in attendance.

Admission: Admission to 125th Anniversary Open House is free of charge, although donations will gladly be accepted inside the Pabst Mansion. Food and beverages will be available for purchase. The Pabst Mansion gift shop will also be open during the Open House from 10:00 – 3:00 p.m.


The Pabst Mansion, Milwaukee’s most legendary residential landmark, was built by the famed brewing family between 1890 and 1892. It remains one of the largest and most expensive houses to have ever been constructed in the city. Filled with rich details executed in wood, stained glass and wrought iron, the Pabst Mansion is further enhanced by original furnishings and an exceptional collection of fine and decorative arts. Captain Frederick Pabst Mansion, Inc., a registered non-­‐profit organization located in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, operates a vital house museum that preserves the legacy of the Pabst family and their impact on the citizens, history, and culture of the Greater Milwaukee community.
