North Shore Bank Dog Days of Summer Event Returns: Unleash with Community Canine Fun

MILWAUKEE- North Shore Bank today announced that it will be hosting the second Dog Days of Summer event on Saturday, Aug. 19 from 9 a.m. – 11 a.m. in Milwaukee at its North End branch at 510 E. Pleasant St.

North Shore Bank is partnering with a variety of local organizations to celebrate a fur-tastic day of activities that includes everything from puppy pools to doggie delights and agility adventures. Pete’s Pops will provide complimentary “Pup Pops” and have human pops available for purchase. Similarly, nearby West Allis Zoom Room will offer an interactive obstacle course for pups to twist and turn through.

“We’re excited to welcome back our furry friends and their people at our Dog Days of Summer event, where they will experience fun ways for community members to connect,” said Cristen Baumann, vice president and district manager at North Shore Bank. “We encourage everyone to embrace the last weeks of summer and join us at The Dog Day of Summer event where we will continue to bring the community together and spread positivity.”

The Wisconsin Humane Society will also be in attendance to share information on fostering, adopting and volunteering, and North Shore Bank will be collecting donations from the nonprofit’s wish list. To share more information on Milwaukee’s future dog park located under I-794, the Downtown Milwaukee Dog Park will also be present.

The public can register for the free event here. Dogs must be leashed while enjoying fido festivities at the event.
