New 9/11 Book Release by Local Author

Everyday Evolution: Your Daily Choices Create BIG Changes

By - Sep 12th, 2026 10:32 am

Local author Bill Tarman-Ramcheck, Ph.D. announces the launch of his new book, Everyday Evolution: Your Daily Choices Create BIG Changes. His coauthors are Andrew Plotkin, Ph.D. and Alecea Standlee, Ph.D.

It was released September 11th, through Barnes and Noble Press so as to help avoid another 9-1-1. It is available to purchase through BN.com.

Tarman-Ramcheck of Sullivan, WI earned his doctorate in sociology at University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee. He is a sustainability consultant and has taught generations of students how to change their daily habits while simultaneously improving the world they prefer to live in.

Everyday Evolution is a small workbook covering six areas of everyone’s daily choices in consumption, banking, investing, using power in the home, selecting where to work, and deciding what to pay attention to. The book contains exercises, a values inventory, and a 30/60/90-day plan that people can use to begin their daily journey to improve their lives.

“I wrote this book to inspire those who today feel powerless to make significant changes,” says Tarman-Ramcheck. “This book tells people how to reclaim their power through their daily decisions. I am excited to share this knowledge with area neighbors and fellow readers in greater Milwaukee.”

Their book is a public easy to read workbook, complementing their earlier book The EcoSociology Action Guide. Available through Lulu Publishing that is a more comprehensive teaching tool they put out in 2025. See more about both books at Ecosociology Books website
