Milwaukee’s Workforce Solutions Spotlighted at Dual Event
Milwaukee, WI – Employ Milwaukee is pleased to announce a dynamic evening featuring two impactful events: the Winning with Wisconsin’s Workforce session hosted by the Wisconsin Department of Workforce Development, followed by the Employ Milwaukee Social Hour Fundraiser. The events will be held on Wednesday, October 30, 2024, at No Studios (1037 W. McKinley Ave., Milwaukee, WI 53205).
The Winning with Wisconsin’s Workforce event, starting at 4:30 p.m., will feature speakers Debbie Allen, President & CEO of DNA Networks, LLC and Sidney Moncrief, Former Milwaukee Bucks Player, Author and Inspirational Speaker highlighting strategies for addressing workforce challenges and fostering economic growth locally. In addition, the event will feature updates from the Department of Workforce Development and invited guests including Mayor Cavalier Johnson and County Executive David Crowley.
“We’re excited to bring together leaders in workforce development to not only address current challenges but to celebrate connecting Milwaukeeans to good jobs,” said Julie Cayo, Interim CEO of Employ Milwaukee. “These events allow us to collaborate, share solutions, and ensure that we continue creating career pathways that meet the needs of our community.”

Both events aim to strengthen partnerships and secure the support necessary for continued progress in workforce development. Proceeds from the fundraiser will support Employ Milwaukee’s mission to provide critical services like job training, career placement, and youth development programs.
