Milwaukee Teen Arrested After Accidental Shooting Injures 22-Year-Old
Milwaukee Police are investigating a shooting that occurred on Monday, January 5, 2026, at approximately 2:00 p.m., on the 5600 block of N. 43rd Street. The suspect was mishandling a gun when it discharged and subsequently truck the victim. The 22-year-old victim was transported to a hospital for treatment of non-fatal injuries. The suspect, a 17-year-old male was arrested. Criminal charges will be referred to the Milwaukee County District Attorney’s Office.
