Milwaukee radio host Eric Von dies Thursday

Statement from Senator Lena Taylor.

Eric Von Boardley, noted Milwaukee journalist and broadcaster for WNOV (AM 860) passed away Thursday evening. Von’s show was a facet of the Milwaukee black talk radio scene, and was a popular voice in the African-American community. Senator Lena Taylor (D-Milwaukee) offered the following words on his passing:

“Eric’s mic is silent but the legacy of his commitment to this community and his family and friends is not gone. Our community has suffered a tremendous loss.

May God bless his soul!”
