Milwaukee Police Investigate Two Separate Fatal Shootings; Suspects in Custody

Incident #1
Milwaukee Police are investigating a fatal shooting that occurred Monday, August 17th, 2026, at approximately 3:17 p.m., on the 1000 block of W. Lapham Bl. The victim, a 44-year-old, sustained fatal gunshot wounds and was pronounced deceased at the scene. This shooting incident appears to be the result of a road rage. The suspect, an 18-year-old woman, was arrested. Criminal charges will be referred to the Milwaukee County District Attorney’s Office.
Incident #2
Milwaukee Police are investigating a double fatal shooting that occurred Monday, August 17th, 2026, at approximately 3:40 p.m., on the 4900 block of N. 31st Street. The victims, a 33-year-old and an unidentified victim, sustained fatal gunshot wounds and were pronounced deceased at the scene. The circumstances leading up to the shooting are under investigation. The suspect, a 28-year-old, was arrested. Criminal charges will be referred to the Milwaukee County District Attorney’s Office.
